New Scene changing room refurbishment complete

The changing room upgrades at New Scene youth centre at Limewood Fields are now complete, so Hoole Rangers FC will play their 2010/11 home fixtures in the Chester and District Football League at this ground. The work was funded mainly by Cheshire West and Chester council along with a donation from the Chester and District Saturday league. This has been one of several  projects currently being worked by the council and the football league, which will make necessary improvements to council pitches and changing rooms used for football in the city. Helen Pearce, Leisure Development Health & Wellbeing Manager (CWAC) managed the project at New Scene, and Cllr Reggie Jones has played an important role  in getting the relevant parties together and moving the overall development of grounds in Chester  forward.
