The CDFL are offering all clubs who are playing on Saturday 14th April 2012 the opportunity to play on Friday 13th instead because of the Everton v Liverpool Semi Final kicking off at 12.00. Both clubs MUST agree to the change of dates. All requests must be made to Paul Graham by Monday 9th April. Referee appointments will be made subject to availability. If clubs can’t agree a change of date then kick off times may be staggered instead.
It is with deep regret that the CDFL announces the passing of Life Member Albert Davies at the age of 91. Albert had been a stalwart of this league for many years and will be remembered fondly by all those who knew him. All our thoughts are with his family at this sad time. The Funeral will be held at St Michaels Church, Newton, Chester at 10.30am on Tuesday 10th April 2012.

It is with deep regret that the CDFL informs you that Saughall Thursday has folded. Their league record to date will be expunged and all scheduled fixtures canceled with immediate affect. No Saughall Thursday players will be permitted to sign on for other clubs until after the 20th February 2012.
Please check your fixtures to see if amendments have been made to your program.
The last remaining fixture Ellesmere Port Town vs Lache has failed a pitch inspection and has been postponed.
Due to weather conditions all games are postponed except Ellesmere Port Town vs Lache which will have a mid day pitch inspection.
Given the severity of the frost all clubs are asked to check their ground by 11am on Saturday morning. Please inform Paul Graham, Liam Power or Ray Carr if your game is off as well as your opponents. Thank You.
