Well done Kelma! Kelma beat Quarrybank FC on Saturday21st May to lift the coveted Northern Cup competition at Jericho Lane, Liverpool. After going in at halftime with a 2 goal lead thanks to two goals from Jed McWha, a resilient Quarrybank FC, forced the game into extra time. A further brace from Mark Lawlor proved to be enough and Kelma lifted the trophy, the second CDFL side to do so in 2 seasons after Levers last year. Congratulations go to everyone at the club on a successful season.

Kelsall proved their Champion Status when they beat Highfield Athletic 3 – 2 in the final of the Roodee Web Designs – TGMT Cup at the Exacta Stadium on Monday night. After a close game which ended 2 – 2 at full time, Kelsall proved to strong under the Exacta floodlights when they scored the decisive winner in the first period of extra time. Congratulations go to all our clubs who have enjoyed the experience of playing at the home of Chester FC.
Kelma caused the upset of the day by beating the Premier Division Champions Kelsall by 3 goals to 2 in the final of the Print Rooms League cup at the Exact Stadium on Saturday.
Congratulations go to Peacock 09 who beat Waggon & Horses Res 2 – 0 in the final of the Chester Standard Cayzer Shield at the Exacta Stadium on Saturday.
After all the hard work the time has come to enjoy yourselves. The Chester Standard Cayzer Shield Final (11am k.o) and the Printrooms League Cup Final (3pm k.o), will be held at the Exacta Stadium, Bumpers Lane, Chester, this Saturday 7th May. Admission is £3/adult and children are free if accompanied by an adult. Bar and refreshments are available all day, the gates open at 10.30am. The Roodee Web Designs Tom Gerraghty Memorial Trophy will be held at the Exacta on Monday 9th May, k.o 6.30pm, gate open at 5.30pm, so please come along and show your support to the teams and the league.
Congratulations go to all our divisional champions, Kelsall, Manor Athletic, Shaftsbury Youth and FC Village. All these clubs will be presented with their trophies at the Exacta Stadium on the 7th May 2011. Please come along and support your league. Details to follow.
The CDFL have suspended Railway Athletics remaining fixtures with immediate effect. Further details will follow in due course.
