CWFL Flexi Division welcomes new team

The CWFL are delighted to welcome FC UBER into the Flexi 11s Division at Blacon High on Mondays. FC Uber are w well known team for the CWFL who had been playing on Saturdays up until the end last season when they had to resign due to weekend commitments held by the players. Instead they opted to join our Friday Night 11’s at Vauxhalls and have enjoyed it that much that they will now be playing Mondays as well. Another success for our Flexi program and our promise to keep teams playing 11v11 where ever possible.

Walking Football at Vauxhall’s Sports Club

WALKING FOOTBALL at VAUXHALL SPORTS CLUB

If you are over 50 and love your football, why not try walking football.  There is no running, low contact and no over head-height play.  It’s just fun, fun, fun!

Played by 7-a-side on small pitch with roll-on roll–off substitutes, you can take a breather if you need one.  Upto 3 substitutes allowed, making a team consist of ten in total.

We are looking for people (men & women) to get a team together to feature in our new Walking Football matches on 4G pitches during the working week (likely day being Tuesday from 10am until noon).

If you are interested in any way please phone

Len on 07748 303731 or Alan on 07909 646146.

It’s good for your heart and health in general to keep you active without too much effort. So give it a try soon.

CWFL Flexi Football wins through again

As you can see from the attached report NO games were played in our Saturday competition. If we compare that to our midweek Flexi 11’s divisions where all 9 games were played, you can see why we are so excited by this new and refreshing format of the traditional 11v11 game. The CWFL have been recognised nationally as a major provider of Flexi Football by the FA. The innovative way we have have developed this format and the way the teams have taken to it has been testimony of a forward thinking and progressive league. We have grown 32 teams in 18 months where nationally the adult 11v11 game is in a terminal decline. Flexi Football is NOT a business leisure league. It is run by volunteers on a non profit basis.

If you would like further information on the CWFL Flexi 11s please contact Paul Graham at pgraham114@aol.com or call 07891 537116 for details.

Join the revolution and keep playing!!

League Secretary, Paul Graham, stated that, ” The increase in participation in the 11v11 game in our area is nothing short of incredible and is testament to all the hard work of the volunteers and teams associated with the CWFL. It is a pleasure to see that the partnership between the CWFL and Cheshire FA has paid dividends with the 11v11 game seeing incredible growth within the league despite declining nationally.
