After our record attendance at our AGM held on the 26th June the CDFL will be issuing all details of the league formation in our four divisions in the coming days. We would like to welcome the 7 new applicants to the CDFL and we are sure you will enjoy the experience of playing in the Premier Grassroots League in the whole of Chester, Wirral and Runcorn. As discussed at the AGM, we will accept applications from any clubs who wish to play in the CDFL. Come along to the Exacta Stadium to watch the first of this seasons Finals. Lache FC will meet Woodlands Santos FC in the final of the CDFL Roodee Web Designs Tom Gerraghty Memorial Trophy this Wednesday, 6pm Kick Off. This game is followed by the Cayzer Shield Final and the League Cup Final, both being played on Saturday 11th May, 11am & 3pm kick offs respectively. Come and support your local league.
Hoole Rangers are currently looking for an assistant manager for the first team working with Adam Bebbington, and also a manager and assistant manager for the reserves. We hope to have these positions filled by the end of this season so they are in place for 2013/14 pre-season. Management experience is not essential as we will provide support while people learn the ropes, but a working knowledge of amateur football is desirable. Good motivational skills, plus an ability to bring in new young players would also be an advantage. If anyone is interested in these roles, please get in touch, via the e-mail address below.

In the CDFL Olympic Trophies Division One, Adi Gough of Cestrian Alex, fired in his 400th goal for the for the club he joined in 1999. The CDFL would like to congratulate Adi for reaching such an astonishing milestone. A truly remarkable feat.
The CDFL are delighted to announce that we will be slashing the CDFL costs to our clubs by almost 25%.
After careful consideration it is felt that this cut is both sustainable and fair and will not jeopardise the quality of competition that you have all become accustomed to.
